In January 2025, the Global Innovation Hub "SAKURA DEEPTECH SHIBUYA" will be established at the Shibuya Sakura Stage. Tokyu Land Corporation will support the growth of Deeptech Startups that are active around the world and take on the challenge of solving global-scale issues that will have an impact on the world, in collaboration with MIT ILP, the University of Tokyo, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and other partners. The main areas of support are energy and fuel, carbon, materials and chemicals, AI and robotics. The core acceleration program is led by Scrum Ventures and Scrum Studio, based on collaboration with MIT professors. We invite you to join the new wave of innovation starting in Shibuya.

Shibuya is a city at the forefront of Japan, boasting diversity and a high level of communication. Taking advantage of this strength, the center will evolve into a new hub for deep tech startup support and global industry-academia collaboration. The Shibuya Sakura Stage, one of the largest development projects in Shibuya, will be used as a cutting-edge demonstration field to disseminate innovations originating in Shibuya to the world.
